Today, Galicia is a world leader in the cultivation and production of this beautiful flower, with almost eight thousand different varieties spread over more than a dozen stately mansions, private gardens and public parks. The peak flowering time for the camellia is between February and April, depending on the weather and the situation.<br \/>\nWe will visit some of the most emblematic and beautiful manor houses in Galicia, and we will learn first-hand about the history of many of them and their gardens.
