In this tour, we will explore the most emblematic areas of the historic center of Santander and visit the best tapas corners while a guide will explain the secrets of the city. Enjoy a cultural visit to the Monumental Santander, while delighting the palate with its rich gastronomy.
Itinerary
We will meet at the selected time at our office located at Emilio Pino Street, 4, in the city center, 50 m from the cathedral. From here, we will start a cultural and gastronomic tour of approximately 3 and a half hours.
We will tour the center of Santander, its historic center, what was the Old Town and the New Town in the Middle Ages when King Alfonso VIII granted us a charter. We will walk along the Pereda Promenade where, in addition to admiring the beauty of one of the most beautiful bays in the world, we can appreciate the grandeur of the Botín Center and other buildings. We will visit the Pombo, Cañadío and Porticada Squares and throughout the tour we will taste the famous tapas in the best bars of this seafaring city, Santander.
We will cover the entire downtown area and promenade passing by the cathedral, Christ Church, Alfonso XIII Square, Botín Center, Gardens and Pereda Promenade, Puerto Chico, Pombo Square, Cañadío Square, Porticada Square and East Market.
