Las camelias llegaron a Galicia a finales del siglo XVIII procedentes de China y Japón. Hoy, Galicia es un referente mundial en el cultivo y producción de esta bella flor, con casi ocho mil variedades diferentes repartidas por más de una decena de pazos señoriales, jardines privados y parques públicos. El momento de máxima floración de la camelia es entre febrero y abril, dependiendo del clima y también de la situación.

An unusual and charming trip in full bloom of camellias.
Camellias arrived in Galicia at the end of the 18th century from China and Japan. Today, Galicia is a world leader in the cultivation and production of this beautiful flower, with almost eight thousand different varieties spread over more than a dozen stately mansions, private gardens and public parks. The peak flowering time for the camellia is between February and April, depending on the weather and the situation.
We will visit some of the most emblematic and beautiful manor houses in Galicia, and we will learn first-hand about the history of many of them and their gardens. We will also visit some Albariño wineries and all accompanied by its great gastronomy.
